My caller ID showed the number 704-879-2693 from Lowell, NC. The message was the same as the ones above. I had no idea what they were talking about, then I looked it up on this site. Sounds like another scam......

The number I have is 803-393-4300, and I tracked it from Jackson, SC, to Clover, SC, to finally Mill Circle, SC and it was listed as VOIP and land line phone. It was a call to me (my previous name prior to my divorce) and said "civil investigations unit with a complaint, affidavit # A......, and that I was a named respondent in a court action and must appear. There is an "order to show cause which has a restraining order and that my attorney or I have 24-48 hours to oppose the matter". I could push "2" to hear it again, and good luck."
I also received it on my cell phone; how they got that number I don't know.

THIS LADY & A AN INVESTIGATOR BLACK LEFT A MESSAGE STATING THAT SHE WAS FROM LEGAL PROCESSING SOLUTIONS. THEY STATED THAT THEY HAD A CASE # FOR ME & THAT I WAS IN LITIGATION FOR A COMPLAINT AGAINST ME. WHEN I FINALLY GOT AHOLD OF SOMEONE THE GENTLEMAN STATED THAT I HAD A FINANCIAL RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST ME FROM LOAN.COM DUE TO THE FACT THAT I OWED THEM MONEY. WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT I WANTED DOCUMENTATION SENT TO ME IN REGARDS TO THIS SINCE I NEVER HAD A LOAN WITH THEM I NEVER HEARD FROM ANYONE AGAIN.

Basically same as above complaints stating they were Civil Investigations Unit and had 24 to 48 hours to respond. Mentioned restraining order. Two calls on same day from different telephone numbers and different caller ID: Greenville, SC 864-551-2267, Spartanburg, SC 864-641-3279 but played same recorded message.

Said they were from the civil investigations unit, have a docket number and said I was being sued, there's a restraining order against me, and that my lawyer & I need to respond within 24 hours.
Called the number back, hit option 2 & it just rang. Called again a min late & it said sorry your call cannot be complete at this time please try your call later.
This is ridiculous!

they try to take money by misleading you with something in collections and a restraining order...beware!

I too recieved this message today. "Civil Investigation Unit" calling regarding a civil matter including a restraining order against me. When I call the number back... It simply hangs up. I recently placed my info on a site called Craigslist for a real estate add. I'm thinking they are getting our info from this site. Have you used the site before as well?

Claimed they were the civil investigations unit and that I had a restraining order out on me. I have 48 hours and to forward this to my lawyer. Maybe I should so that my lawyer can sue these idiots.

My husband received this call about me and that I have 48 hours to respond with my attorney, this is a scam I am not returning this call and I am reporting it to the local police and to the FBI, and also to the District Courts so that may investigate these scammers.

I received a call today from this number from Legal Processing Solutions. I called back and the gentlemen stated that I had a legal restraining order against me. I stated to him that I refuse to give him my personal information. He stated to me that I will be supeoned to go to court. I told go ahead I will tell them that I never got a loan from Loan.com. I will report this scam to the FBI.

This call was made to my old landlords and then one was made to my son stating that I MUST APPEAR or show cause and had 24 hours to respond.
