Telemarketer trying to sell magazines or something, or maybe just trying to fraudulently get credit card numbers. based out of monroe, nc

First, it was promoting getting a degree. When I told them that I had a degree, they wanted to tell me that i was entitled to receive extended subscription to magazines that I was supposed to have gotten.

This number calls, and no voice on the caller's end. They hang up immediately or breathe heavily. There are numerous reports of this number, but thus far, nobody has been able to locate the originating source. Attempts to call the number back with return an 'unable to complete call' notification.
