704-970-0393 CallerID read, "Charlotte NC." Upon answering, heard robot voice recording stating that "Google Frontpage has [some special arrangement/offer] for businesses like yours...". Hung up.

It is the familiar "google specialist" scam, calling from a different number but with the same lousy connection to probably the same distant boiler room. If you want to take the time to send them some money, I am sure they will be glad to have it.

If you do not have the time to deal with the scam-by-phone folks, then you can still be fleeced. Just contact one of these festering boils on the arse of the internet and be assured of prompt poverty:

Google scam. They say they'll get you first page google listings. Use your brains people. If they are able to do that, they'd have enough customers finding them online that they won't be firing out millions of robot calls looking for work.
