Telling me i need to send 250.00 if not i will have a warrant for my arrest

I got a call from the police department in gainesville n was told i had to call 17133702769 n was gave a docket number n the guy i spoke to wont give me his name he said i needed to send 250.00 r i would be arrest but i didnt send no money i no this is a scam

Received a call from the county Sheriffs dept phone number informing me I had a warrant for my arrest and to call the 7133702769 and provide a docket number. When I called Daniel Hamilton answered telling me I owed a payday loan for $1181 but if I pay $298 it would stop the warrant from being served. I had previously filed bankruptcy and had not used any payday advances since so I called my attorney and he referred me to a criminal attorney because an arrest warrant is criminal. This attorney could not find a warrant for me anywhere in the system and advised me to call the court office or go downtown with my id. I called the sheriffs number back and they informed me they do not see anything for me and they heard there is a new scam that the caller can put in the number they wish for you to see on the caller id. I called back again and a different lady said they only serve warrants in person from someone in uniform. Then I googled the number and name......and here I am! Beware! And pass this info on please!

i got a call saying to call 713-370-2769 i called the number and spke to some one name daniel hamilton he said i had a warrant for my arrest but if i paid 500$ he would stop the arrest i called the police department they said it was a scam

I got a call this morning stating that a warrant for my arrest was pending because I had a payday loan default, irs fraud, check fraud. I was give a number and docket number. I called and asked what it was about and they wanted me to give them information and if i paid the $245 I would not be go to jail. I told them I wanted information faxed to me so that my two attorneys could look into the isuue because I was on Bankruptcy. They did not want to send me any information because they aren't authorized to give me any information so I said how can you sign a warrant and I can't get any information. I said I will have my two lawyers to contact you and he got all rude and hung up the phone and nevermind at this time. Definitely a SCAM even though I did have an account with the people he was talking about. Some how they hacked into a system and got my information.
