When I got the call, I called it back from my cell phone and the recording said it was from DOC in Gloucester, VA We got the call the evening of 9/28/2013

Called twice in a row. I am at work and did not answer. I certainly do not know any prison inmates!

I own a Home Inspection business, and can't even talk on the phone to a legitimate customer due to this number calling me repeatedly. When I say repeatedly, it's literally 15 times in an hour so far...we'll see how far this goes.

global, mumble, mumble, collect call from smith county jail from barbara. i don't know any barbara, so I just hang up.
is this a legitimate company, or just a scam?

this is one of the many numbers used by global tel link. it is a company that has been buying up contracts with departments of corrections(hence doc on the caller id ) in various states. the sad part is if you have someone incarcerated the only way to to have contact is thhru their prepaid sevice. each call can cost 5-20 dollars.is a rip off . listen to the whole recording there is away to block all future calls

This is a Texas Prisoner trying to reach you by collect call! Don't do it! It's a very expensive and unsecured way to use your credit card for future calls. And your buddy in jail will call you collect 5-7 times a day depending how needy he/she gets. This will cost you dearly!!

Caller ID 'DOC: CALLED 2 or 3 times a day. Was a collect call so I did not accept it. How can I stop them from calling? Has called on 10,11 12 of May 2012.

this is a prison inmate call , sometimes it goes thru and tells you to press a number but than at times it goes thru as a collect call .

repeatedly calls every minuite from jail and I do not have funds to accept these calls and person knows he can't call but persists to call anyway. I just had surgery today and it needs to stop please!

Call from 713 area code. All times. Morning a little after 8:30. Late Saturday night 10:30. Don't the prisons have regulations times for calling. Don't know anyone in Houston much less a prisoner. Stop all calls to me.
