I missed a call from (737)666-9030 and they did not leave a voice message. I called the number back to see who or what it was; which was an automated message (surprise, surprise...ugh):

"Thank you for your interest in the current promotion. If you would like to be removed from our list for future promotional events, press 2 on your phone key pad. Otherwise press 1 one to hear more information about the current promotion."

Here is the message when you press #1:
"Thank you for using our system...Good-bye."

Here is the message when you press #2:
"Thank you, your number has been captured by our system and it will be added to our, “Do Not Call List.” Please note that it may take up to 48 hours for your number to be processed. Thank you for your patience and good bye.” Pause and switches to 1. "Thank you for using our system...Good-bye."

electronic sales call - repeat caller

DO NOT answer or call them back. They are scammers calling to sell you an alarm system. Their # is spoofed. The # on the ID caller is not the real # they are calling from.

The "...free alarm if you allow us to place a small sign in your yard..." folks haven't bothered me since March 10th, 2014, so I guess their call is long overdue.

These people call whether you're on the Do Not Call list or not. Doesn't that suggest something about their business ethics? Don't bother to press 9 to be removed from their predictive dialer, they won't. Much better not to answer calls whose Caller ID you don't recognize.

"Hello. The FBI reports there was a home break in every 15 seconds. Your local police recommend you protect your home. If you will allow us to place a small sign in your yard, we will install a new security system at absolutely no cost to you whatsoever. There is no cost for the system or the installation whatsoever. To hear more, press 1 now. To be placed on our Do Not Call list, press 9."
