Initially sounded like a collection call ... but the caller said she was calling for DirecTV and offering $10/month off to bundle my TV with a home security system. I called back and it was some other business name - Live Shield? I asked where they were and was told Cincinnati, Ohio. Now why is a company in Cincinnati using a Chicago area code - my area code?! (Answer: to get me to take the call.)

There should be a $10/call fee for bothering people with sales calls.

IT USUALLY PHONES TWICE IN A ROW, SKIPS A DAY AND THEN PHONES TWICE IN A ROW AGAIN.

Incessant calls, the number shows up as "Illinois Call" on the caller ID. I do not know anyone there. It must be a telemarketer.
