These are debt collectors who are trying to recover debts that are over 7 years old.

These people are zombie debt collectors. They harass people on debt that they don't owe or is past the statute of limitations. They buy accounts for pennies on the dollar hoping to bully and harass people into paying debt they don't owe or are no longer liable for. The will continue to call forever just block the number or don't pick up. They don't want to go to court with you b/c they know they have no case as the statute is up or you're no longer liable. I was in "pre-legal" for 9 or 12 months. The first time they called I said to them your full of BS on this debt and outright told them sue me. The lady got all upset trying to yell and shout me down and I just kept saying sue me. They didn't b/c they don't want to go near court as they don't have a case. No legit law firm keeps something that long in pre-legal without actually filing a case against you, unless they really don't have a case. They kept calling however for the entire 9 or 12 months. Eventually they get tired and go away as they realize you're not a sucker. I just blocked their number. The people who call are not even lawyers they are 2 bit call room debt collectors.
