Claims that you are a winner of a lottery or sweewstakes and wants you to wire money to costa rica. My father have sent them about 17,000 in wire tranfers. This i a big scam be ware calls fron 786-228-5809 and also 786-228-5198

Telemarketers claiming to be "ADT Home Security Systems" - a large national company. The telemarketer is ignoring the National DNC List. After the call, I dialed *57 to initiate a Call Trace (no need to set it up, but it does cost $2 for the trace). I was then told the call was traced and to call GPE Security on 1-800-257-2969. When I called that number, it was verizon's Unlawful Call Center who said they cannot give me any information but will contact the caller and inform them not to call me again. They also advised me to complain to my local States Attorney's Office.

What I try and do but was unable to do was try and find out which phone company issued the telephone number so I can contact them. I got the call 55 minutes ago and by now my temper has subsided - which is why so few people do complain to their Attorney.
