Same as Zack - message from a health service that could insure me and my family for 3 dollars a day - they just needed "some basic information" from me. No company name. Most likely a scam.

Well at least the fraud got close to getting the math right... 30x3 ~= 99. HA!

This number showed up on my cell, but the message wasn't about car warranties. It was in regards to some national health service that could "completely insure me and my family for $99 per month!" He left an 877 number for me to reach, and it didn't match the number on my caller ID.

He never mentioned the name of the company in his message, which leads me to believe it's a fraud.

I have pressed 2 to remove my number from their database and spoken with 3 people by pressing one and asked them to remove me. I just got another call, the 23rd one.

car warranty call

this number has called me since i had a home phone a go phone a cricket phone and now an alltel prepaid phone. when i had the home phone i pressed the number to talk to a representative and asked to talk to a manager and they hung up on me, if they don't have a manager to talk to then it's obviously a scam of some sort. they also don't know the make and model of your car, nor what year it is, i have a car now that is bought off a used car lot and it's warrenty has long since expired and yet they call me. they just want your information so they either steal your identity or get some money for a bogus warrenty that does not and never will exist.

This call just came in on my cell phone. No voice mail message left. I did not answer as I know no one with a toll free number.

I'M ON THE DO-NOT-CALL LIST....AND ONCE MY FIRST MONTH IS DONE WITH I'LL BE ABLE TO PUT THIS NUMBER TO SHAME AND FILE A COMPLAINT.

LOOK UP "NATIONAL DO NO CALL LIST" ON THE NET. MAKE A FREE ACCOUNT AND WHOEVER CALLS YOU....FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM ON THE SAME SITE.

TOTALLY FREE. IT'S AWESOME!

I got it and rejected it. I never answer any call from any number that I don't recognize. I have to pay for dropped calls and for calls such as these bogus ones when they call my cell. I think that sucks and is pretty good cover for a nice little racket that cell phone carriers are currently running. That, and charging one minute when a call is two seconds! Name me any other business where that would fly!!

no message left. I called back after reading this site. Of course my call cannot be completed as dialed.
Why in the world would they call at 11:53am on a Saturday?
And why call random cell numbers?

Anita have them stopped

I just got a call from this number on my cell phone while I was asleep. I never answer these calls or any calls from phone numbers I don't know because lately I've been getting several from different numbers offering me an extended car warranty. I don't even own a car. It's impossible to block all these calls because they are constantly calling from different phone numbers.I wish there was a law to stop this nonsense.

I got calls from these jerks 2 times on my cell phone about extending the warranty on my truck. The first time I spoke to a rep. and simply to them not to call again. Today I answered and told the rep. I wanted to buy the best coverage they offered. They told me to have a nice day after I told them my truck burnt to the ground about 3 weeks ago. I suggest answer the call and run their ass through the mill. We'll see if they call back. I wasted alot of this lady's time . I wish I could have seen her face when she thought she was making a huge sale just to find out it was on a burned out pickup.

A call came in from this number to my NEW prepaid TracFone cell; NOBODY should have this number so they're probably just using a dialing program.

Now that I know it's about selling a warranty . . . maybe I'll just keeps notes about people I don't like, I give these scam artist THAT information!

Those warranty assholes are clling us all the time and I start really to be pissed with them. Whyt the hell this company is calling all the time if I am not at all interested. They have called me about 30 times during this year. I Just hate them so much.

Been getting calls from this number which I don't answer. (if they're not in my address book, I'm not answering it) Then I thought I'd google the number and see what company it is.

Guess I chose wisely!

i have been receiving these messages on my home number for months now re: car insurance. i have a metrocard!!

this afternoon my office phone rang and i hear an automated message say this was the last notice that my car insurance was expiring. the message also paused and said press #1 to speak to an agent.

THEN the phone went dead.

i call back... NUMBER CAN NOT BE REACHED!

i'm totally freaked out that it's not just my home phone but my office phone as well. Can this be an identity theft potential?

I doubt it. Just somebody claiming your car's warranty is about to expire, judging by other's testimonials on here. But make sure your numbers are on the National Do Not Call Registry. Check your credit reports at least once a year by all 3 major credit bureaus, or ASAP if there if you think somebody may have messed with your ID. Lastly, NEVER give out your SSN, account numbers or PIN numbers. Even the businesses I deal with only ask for the last 4 digits of the SSN. Banks never ask for PINs. Anybody out of the blue who asks for any of this info, end the call and report it. I hope all this sets your mind at ease.
