I was told at discover.com that I needed to call this number. I called it, then got paranoid that I was part of a phishing scam. I called discover from the # listed on their actual web site, and they confirmed that this was an internal number from their department that handles suspicious/fraud activity, so the number is legitimate as far as I know. I'm not sure if they typically call you, but I was told to call this number and the number was confirmed to be owned by discover.

wanted all my information but would not confirm who they were. Then transferred me to their "fraud unit" after I gave no info and demanded to know who they were. ESPECIALLY since I have a Discover acct that has never been funded...so what unusual activity did you see? People are just desperately crazy. And who leaves a "voicemail" for a fraud unit? SMH
