Do not leave a name they are calling for. They are calling a business line in my home. Leaving a name does not go against any consumer laws or the FDCPA. Number blocked and reported to the FCC. They are not legitimate due to the fact no letter was received stating they were collecting a debt. That IS against the FDCPA.

They have called several times but do not leave the persons name they are calling for. That is not breaking any consumer or FDCPA laws. They are calling a business line in my home. Blocked them.

They called me and identified themselves. I told them I’m not interested and hung up. I have no credit cards, nor do I owe anything. All of my medical bills are paid at time of activity. So whatever they’re calling about, it’s bogus.

This number is from North American Credit Services. They are a legitimate company calling about a debt. In order for them to speak to you, you have to identify yourself because they are required by law to make sure they have the correct party on the line to avoid giving personal information out to a third party.

this debt collection has called me twice last night and early this morning when thid number is a private number. please block them as much as you can .they are American debt collection agency .i don't want them be calling my cell phone anymore and my house phone too

They say they are North American Credit, then they ask for personally identifiable information. They do not say what it is for, and they say they sent a letter which I did not receive. When I refuse to give them my PII, they politely say - we will call back when we can identify you. I tell them to stop calling, but they do not listen. Three phone calls received so far, and quite annoying.

Caller Id tag showed generic "Marketing Sales" name.
Debt collector.
Began giving out personal information for verification immediately after identifying as collection agency.
Informed not to call again.
