Foreign lady claims to be calling from student loan forgiveness

Spoofed ROBOCALL number asking for my SS# !! Do not answer.

Received a call from this number but didn't recognize it so I looked it up online & it said Dept of Education. Since I have student loans, I called the Dept of Ed directly and was told that no one called me, that it was an inbound call center & that they didn't make calls out from that number and she asked me to double check the caller ID. I did and gave her the number, she said that it was their number but that the call did not come from the Dept of Ed.
If you answer a call from this number, DO NOT give them any personal information; they have Spoofed or Cloned a legitimate Dept of Education number to try to get SSNs and other personal information.
