They asked me for my personal info as well to "verify" my identity. Uhhhhh no effin way. Do people really fall for this?

Multiple times this number has called and never left a message. I tagged the number in my phone as possible "Fraud US Cellular" and finally answered today.
I do in fact have US Cellular service, so was curious as to how the call was going to go. It WAS legit! The woman on the other end stated she was from US Cellular and was conducting a customer courtesy call. She stated all of my current information regarding my plan and simply asked questions as to my satisfaction ratings, comments or concerns. She never once asked for any personal information of mine.
For those of you who do not have US Celluar as a provider, I don't know what to tell you, but for me it was 100% legit.

Fraudulent. They identified themselves as US Cellular when I called the 800# back. They asked for the last 4 of my SSN so I hung up and called US Cellular directly. They had nothing on record about calling me.

I called the number back and it was U.S. Cellular. They asked for my cell phone number and I advised them that I did not have U.S. Cellular. They told me that someone in my family probably joined. Not as far as I know but I'm waiting for someone to tell me.
