I answered because I was expecting a return call from my bank and didn't look at the #. He called me by my first name. A man's voice(trying to sound like authority), no accent. He said he was with "The United Police Fund" . I told him to "go to h*ll". I support the police but not scammers.

they called and said Hello (my Name) and I said yes and they hung up.

Yup. Same as bets.

This caller identified themselves as calling from a National Police Organization and short of a word saying it would happen, they informed me that donating to them would keep my home and property from being vandalized. BEWARE POLCE ASSOCIATIONS DOING PHONE FUNDRAISING, ESPECIALLY IN THIS HIGHLY POLITICIZED ERA OF OUR ADMIN'S POLITICIZING LAW AND ORDER.

Continual calls from them even today on SUNDAY! I usually don't answer when ID doesn't show caller or if I don't recognize #. I got mad today and answered and a man asked me by my name. I asked who's calling and he said he was from PI a fundraiser for police and I yelled ; you people are a scam quit calling" and hung up.
