Called and said I opened a new card and that there were new transactions totaling $3K+ for gun purchases. Mentioned the last digits of my AmEx card (which were not the same as my card) and the address listed on the card (which was not my address). I did not disclose any of my information and just that it was not mine. Kept asking if I authorized anyone, possibly a family member, to open up a card in my name. I even said that I would be recording this call (although I didn't) and he was okay with that. I kept saying that it is not me and eventually he hung up.
No message. Fake Amex collection call
