called my number 4 times a day and for more than two weeks,,,,,,,,just blocked this number.

This is spam. I don't have an Am Ex account and they have called 9 times in the last two days and hung up.

This number calls in, has dead air for about 5-10 seconds and then hangs up. I don't care if it's GOD calling. If they can't be bothered to make a call with a live person on the other end then I can't be bothered to do anything other then put it on my blocked calls list.

Why, if they are a real caller, do they make no sound for 5 seconds and hang up? If there is an issue why would they not open a dialogue? Why also so many calls at very odd times of the day?

This number is account receivables for franchise American Express credit cards. Calling when they perceive that there is a issue with the account.
