Craiglist Scam. I have a car on there and have gotten 2 seperate voicemails from Mr."Ben". They both say the same thing, telling me that my car is under book value and they want to buy it right away. they're good too cause the message actually says the make and model of my car listing. Both times it was EXACTLY the same excet the call back numbers - one was 800-678-6505 the other was 866-531-3582. The call showed up on called ID as 415-992-5431. They have voicemail set up when you call back now but after reading all these I guess those are fake too.

Shame too- I really wanted to sell my car! Anyone looking for an 2004 Audi?! lol

I have a truck listed for sale in SC and have it just a few dollars below book for a quick sale-"Ben" left a message saying his manager asked him to call me and they can help me sell my truck because people are desperately looking for good deals and they wanted to know more about it. Whatever happened to "it is NOT ok to contact this seller for commercial interests"? They called from 4159925431 and gave a phone number to contact them at 800-566-7916 for the "National Research Department."

Called and offered to sell my motorcycle for me after I posted an ad on Craigslist.
