Said they were from SunTrust and I was preapproved for a platinum card. Asked me to verify my account information with last 4 digits of ss# and birth date. Yeah, right! Called SunTrust fraud department to inform them and gave them the number. They said they've had numerous complaints about this number recently and it is a scam. SunTrust is not calling. Do not answer call from this number.
received call on 6/25/2014 wanted area code then wanted last four numbers of social security number that is when I told him if he was sun trust he would already have this info
kept insisting for number because wanted to give a credit card kept saying did not want
finally had to just hang up to get rid of male caller
