Not from Cunturylink,...

I got a letter in the mail presumably from Centurylink to renew my annual choice about not sharing information. I called the number, it offered to our "valued customers" a $100 gift card to Walmart, Target, or whatever I chose with only a $1.95 processing fee. "Have your card ready..." When I declined, I got a recording that the number had changed to 800-712-3000. Iit was fishy, so I looked it up here. Thanks for sharing everone! Saves me so much Time!

I received call from 866-354-0567. No message then I got a text saying to call this # I called and got offered a $100.00 gift for only $1.99 processing fee or wait to talk to a rep. I opted to wait so I could tell them to take me off their list. A recording came on and said that the # had been changed to1-800-712-3000 called that # and received the same offer hit pound key to speak to rep and got another #.

This number has somehow hacked into my company's voicemail, and instead of transferring calls to our voicemail our customers are being transferred to this 800-712-3000.... I am on the phone with CenturyLink right now to try to fix this. This is not good for business, to say the least!

Identified itself as HRRG Collections, a debt-collection agency, and gave number to call. When called, number is advert for medic-alert monitoring services. Gave a second number for more info, (I called hoping for an opt-out) which turned out to be Comcast free 4-11. No option for speaking with a human or being removed from call list. Received a robo-call from the medical surveillance service appx. 3 wks ago. Was given an option to be removed from the calling list, which I exercised.

Call from an inmate at some prison (system recording stated the name of the prison, but was not understandable). I get the options of 0 to accept, 5 to not accept or 7 to block further calls and to dial 800-365-0036. I pressed 7, hung up, called the 800 number, rang once and it says the number has been changed to 1800-712-3000, which is phone number for bankruptcy. I then got the call twenty more times from the same inmate. I don't have caller ID so I don't know what the number was that called me.
