I am less than thirty days late on one mortgage payment. I've held this mortgage for over ten years and this is the first time I've ever been late. I have records for the past two weeks showing me that this number calls me in EXCESS of 10 times a day, sometimes more than once in a twenty minute period. EVEN WHEN I ANSWER and ask why they are calling and assure them that payment is forthcoming they continue their calls, claiming that my previous answer hadn't "been processed". I understand that I owe them money, but there must be some law as to how many times they can call in one day.

IndyMac Bank called me non-stop from 0823 until 9 pm every day! I applied for a loan modification in May 2011 and three times I sent the requested information, and each time I get a letter stating that I did not provide the information. When I called to get the status of the modification, I am told that I have to resubmit the application because the information was 90 days old. It was not my fault, they hold the information and waste time and don't take action...that is how they keep adding up the interest. This week I will submit the application again for the fifth time and not only will I fax the information, I will also mail a hard copy. I no longer answer the phone. They are now using a local # or block the 800 #

It's very abusive for calling people non stop.

It is One West Bank (dba as IndyMac Bank). They are trying to collect on my significantly late mortgage (I am in default and have just finished foreclosure mediation). They call like 6 or more times a day now from early in the morning until late at night (interestingly there were no phone calls while I was going through the foreclosure mediaiton). It is a computer-generated call (they told me) and there will be silence once the computer recognizes a human has answered. Then you will be transferred to a very obnoxious human being who has no feeling of compassion for what you are going through. They are very rude and the practice is typical of a company who has been bailed out and probably paid cents on the dollar for my loan when they took it over. I don't answer the phone anymore without looking at the caller id.

Indymac Bank: They start calling at 8:23 a.m. And, even if I speak with somebody and give them a status, they call me an hour later. The letters are just as bad. They claim its a automated dialing system, yes I've heard of that however once comments are made in the system the IVR should not make the call if its done properly. They have called me 6 or 7 times a day, right now I do average 1 month behind but between the calls and the letters, now certified letters by the way I'm ready to get an attorney at this point.

Continue to call. Now calling and hanging up. Unbelieveable!

3rd call todday and my account is current!!

They call and harass every day even though my account is current. Pressing to pay earlier! What idiot in management approved this approach? I am in the process of moving my mortgage to a different bank because of this.

They call on the 2nd of every month and every day of the 15 day grace period even though the bill is not late. We havent paid past the grace period in 10+ years!! It's harassment!!

stop harrassing people every day , bad thing , calling every single day . that is a bad reputation to your company.

This number calls me twice a day asking for somebody who doesn't live here (and no longer uses my home number). I keep asking them to take the number off their list, but they still keep calling.
