5. In brief::: Most statute of limitations for credit cards are up in 4 years 6 in some states. You do not have an obligation to pay one red cent to any credit card collection agency after that ( Statute) time you paid your last bill. Keep records so if you do go to court it will be immediately thrown out. Do not tell any collection agency you are willing to make payments this will in some circumstances reset the date of the last payment though this can still be fought. These lawyers and collection people are the worst kind of human beings they lie cheat and steal from everyone. Billions and Billions of your dollars went to pay the banks for their scandal and the average person is left with nothing. Most of the lawyers barely passed the bar the 5th time and almost failed the law schools they went to. The collection people are insecure morons the ones everyone new in high school “full on†misfits the whole lot them.
6. DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THEM THEY HIDE BEHIND THEIR PHONES AND SLEEZY OFFICES
7. IF YOU ARE SUED TAKE ACTION DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY EVER
I was told by a credit card company that was reporting on my credit report that this company was in charge of my account. I called this company not knowing if this was a law office, or a collection agency. The guy a spoke to was name Bryan, or atleast what he told me. I explained my situation and explained that I have not been employed in almost 3 yrs and have been un able to find a job. My husband is active duty and we have move 3 times in a yr. This guy was very nasty, and rude. He told me that he didnt care if I had to file bankruptcy, nor feed my children..but that I should have thought about that before I gave birth to them. He also told me that apparently my job skills were not up to par if I could not find a job in 3 yrs. This guy was extremely rude, he told me that he would be sueing me, but that I would not get any notification until after the 16th of sept. I informed him that the address that he told me he had was from last year and I am in another State, so therefore I have not gotten anything in writing from them. he bascially told me that he would put it in the pile to be sued and hung up on me. If they sue me, I have nothing for them to get..Is it possible to garnish my husband's military pay for a credit card that was only in my name? And everyone tells me to check MY STATE LAWS..well we are military, so how do I know what state to check.. MY ID is STATE of GA, my husband lics is in TN, But we live in VA...so which state do I check to make sure I do the things that are required..?
