A man identified as "John" claimed to informing me of a debt that was about to be taken to court if not paid within 48 hours and that I could avoid paying court costs if I paid the amount in full now. "John" had the correct previous address for me, but said the debt was in my husband Patrick's name. I'm not nor have I ever been married and have no relatives (that I know of) named Patrick. With my last name, though, it was a good bet for this scam artist.
