I got this on my ipod touch.
Just got the same call that everyone else got. And I don't even HAVE a credit card. Random call, but ticks me off when it goes to my cell!
Yep, same issue as everyone on here. A female voice recording stating how we had spoken previously, etc, and about lowering interest rates, blah, blah, blah.
Let this unfamiliar number go to voicemail. I'm in Seattle and don't know anyone in Flint, MI. Smells *fishy* to me, especially since it was to my (unlisted) cell phone.
What Andy reported on Friday just happened to me. I saw the number appear that I was unfamiliar with, and I let it go to voice mail, and a female was offering me a lower interest rate. She mentioned that we spoke last week, which is not true, and she tell me that she sees we are only making the minimum monthly payments, which is absolutely not true. After listening to the message, I deleted it. It sounds like they were fishing, perhaps picking random cell numbers and hoping to find someone that fits their description in order to get them to call back and perhaps a chance to rope them into some obscure proposition.
