Says that it is us census but I checked with the census bureau and they have no record of number they want you to call.

Caller ID shows Census Bureau, they call at least two - three times a day, they have left messages with a case number. They speak with broken English to the point I can barley understand them. I will not call back, if I do I will say this call is being recorded for legal reason and police report. I'm betting they will hang up.

Two calls today, back to back. Caller ID showed "Census Bureau" with this number (which is an area code for Indiana). First time, I let it ring (I didn't have my answering machine on). They finally hung up, and in the time it took me to turn on the answering machine (about 3 seconds), they called again, got the machine, but did not leave a message. I blocked the number.

Caller ID said Census Bureau, wasn't home and they didn't leave a number. 4 days before this call I had a cal from 240-420-6029 caller ID said US Census Bureau, they left a message saying to call them back with the Identification number they left. Never called them back because these calls were made after 5 and 6pm, I feel like it is a scam.

These people are ignorant and harassing to the point where I almost had to call the police for harassing me by coming to my home unannounced, any day or night, and on Sunday. I made a big mistake by talking to them in the first place because they will not take No for an answer. I was very ill one time and she still insisted on coming inside. They are survey takers for many different reasons that they claim. They said I had to let them in eight times. I do not have to let anyone in my home. One was called Elaine, and the other, Gloria.

census bureauthat i forgot to fill something in. I sent in paperwork not realizing i made out papers in 2010. this sounds like a scam. we are elderly and 2 of the calls were men whispering for us to call in.they talked broken english. very scary.
