Couldn't tell what they said..mumbled softly. Called at 5:45 a.m. Putting this on my call display as spam.
Caller said he was from Windows and needed access to the computer. Says his name was Mac Rogers and gave 870-095-2780 to call back on. did do anything with this person not legit.
Caller said he was calling to talk to my wife about a loan for a car. I know we are not looking to buy a car. He said he was calling from his "customer service office," but my caller ID said "Payphone." He had a mild ethnic accent, and asked if he could send us an email. When I asked him if he wanted me to tell him my email address, he claimed he already had it. He didn't give his name, and he wouldn't give his phone number when I asked (not that I needed it). He called around 3:30p EST.
Called around 3:30 EST, had an accent and would not leave a message whe I said I wasn't home. Pushed me for a better time to call back. NEVER.
Scamming scumbags.
someone called me from this # claiming to be a windows rep. and told me that my computer might crash if i didn t follow his instructions. I was directed to www.ammyy.com and told to download something which i did not do
