Spam. This was obviously not a legit call. It said it was Comcast but it didn’t sound anything like it.

Apparently legit. They called 3 times with no message. After research, I called back to get an automated recording "press 1 to cancel your comcast appointment or press 2 to ..." . No preface, no caller ID. Without researching, I would never have called an unknown number.
Good idea just poorly executed.

When I picked up the phone the caller identified himself as Xfinity a Comcast company and asked for someone I did not know. Then started to argue with me that I had to know this person. If they are supposed to be advanced technical support then they should at least have the right number. Even after the phone call they sent a text message reminding me of an appointment. I do not have Comcast service providers in my area so I don't get it why they would be calling me.

I got part of an automated message saying it was Comcast, but when I called the number back, she says "hello". Also, I could hear my own voice after everything I said. Strangest call ever.

I got a call from this number, and the person on the line couldn't give me some basic account information, like my email address. I disconnected, and then called Comcast to let them know that I wasn't ok with someone being able to get my information from their system, and the representative let me know that this call was, in fact, from their advanced technician team that's located "overseas." This number is legit, but if so many people believe that Comcast's advanced tech representatives are potential scammers, maybe they should change their customer service training/policy.

They called me today. I scheduled with Comcast to have a technician come out in 2 days to check out my cable television.

This is not Comcast calling me because I have nothing to do with Comcast. My caller Id says 800 service. I get Several calls daily and they ring 10+ times, never leaving a message.

Calling all day long but not leaving a message. I also have a Comcast technician scheduled in a few days. If it's legit, they should leave a message.

As high tech princess said: Called but left no message. Google search revealed multiple consumers indicating that this is Comcast advanced technical support. I believe that this is credible as I am having problems with my Internet service and a technician is scheduled to come out.

Called but left no message. Google search revealed multiple consumers indicating that this is Comcast advanced technical support. They apparently call to try to troubleshoot any technical problems that you're having one last time via phone before sending a technician out when one is scheduled. I believe that this is credible as I am having problems with my Internet service and a technician is scheduled to come out on tomorrow.
