I got a call from them as well and sat through their spiel. I believe it is a scam to get you to give your information and get you to sign up for other stuff like magazine subs, loans, credit cards. Thankfully I refuse to ever give out my credit card info or Social Security number over the phone so they don't have that information from me, only my address. I'm just going to assume I wont get the free baby stuff they were telling me about. Tho I did receive another call from someone near my own area code about receiving college information to go back to school AFTER I told the all about baby person I did not want any information or people to call me. I hope you didn't give them any valuable information besides an address. From what I've seen on other sites about these people it's just a scam to get your information so they can give it to others so they can call and bug you too.
I have tried to call and it will not let me call the number!! It has been a month and a half. I was already suppose to have my stuff and never got it. So I have emailed the customer support and asked were is my merchandise?? An they send an email stating DO OT REPLY!! I want my stuff. I did not set on the phone for an hour for no reason. I have asked if it was a scam and another reply DO NOT REPLY TO THIS!! I am wondering what is up with this??
is this a scam?
They've called my workplace two days in a row, asking for one of my bosses. The first time I just said he wasn't available. She asked if I was his wife and when I said he has no wife, she said, "Tell him we called from 'All About the Baby'." It didn't register until I hung up but I thought it made no sense since he has no children. Today I said he wasn't here and she started her spiel about how he registered on their website for free baby products and I told her that he wouldn't have, as he has no children. She sounded irritated with me and said that maybe a friend or neighbor registered him and reiterated that he was registered for free baby products and said, "Just give me the birthdate of the baby!" I said, "THERE IS NO BABY! HE HAS NO CHILDREN. DO - NOT - CALL - HERE - AGAIN." So, we'll see if that takes care of it. Fingers crossed!
$100 worth of free baby stuff
