The person did not initially identify the institution he represented, did not have specifics or even my correct name, yet said the call was going to be recorded. When he said he represented a major internet book and music website credit card division, I felt he was on a surreptitious fishing expedition to try to hand him info about my legitimate credit card. This call has been repeated numerous times; to my knowledge I have no credit card with the institution he claims I do, have never received a statement in the mail, a card, or email. This is frankly scary and abusive, especially for a disabled person with Parkinson's.

Caller name reads "Illinois" ... they do not leave messages .... they call up to 15 times per day. After telling them not to call me they continue to do so. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act, debt collectors cannot continue to call after being asked not to do so. I am filing a complaint with the FTC Bureau of Costumer Protection and will be contacting the Illinois Attorney General's office, as well, if these harassing phone calls from (847) 488-6050 do not cease immediately.
