Esser James & Associates. Here we go again.

I answered a call from this number, this morning; and was met with an automated message. It read my first and last name; and prompted, "press 1 if this is you". I was then connected to a debt collector who claimed that I owed $400+, for a Victoria's Secret credit card. I have never shopped at Victoria's Secret; nor have I discovered any signs of an account with them on my credit report. I told them I would wait for it to appear on my credit report, so that I could file it as fraudulent; and they claimed that I must send them a police report, or the bill could be "forcibly recovered". After I refused to pay, they ended the phone call with, "we'll mark your file as 'uncollectable'. Have a nice day."

Somebody left a message trying to get somebody to call about some undisclosed illegal matter.

Called each of the past two days. They're baaaackkk...

According to our answering machine, they've called THIRTY times over the past three days.
