RECEIVED on CELL Phone: 10:45pm! call from 'Amy' at Power Choice (probably fake), about changing from PSE&G to another utility. PROBLEM #1: I was in London, UK, close to 11pm UK time, and roaming charges of ~$10-15 will most likely be on my bill. Thank you credit bureaus for selling my name. PROBLEM #2: I do not use PSE&G Where are the NSA tracing records on these "DO NOT CALL" violators????

Such annoying calls I looked around to find out how to stop these calls and saw a comment on another site to call a do not call request service at 866-246-7196. I spoke to them since I was reluctant of this service and they said they provide this service to a small number of companies that call consumers that want to minimize complaints and save time not calling people who don't want to be called. Sounded reasonable so last Friday I gave the caller's phone number which they confirmed on their list and added my receiving phone number to the do not call request service. It's past their 24-48 hour processing time and the calls indeed did stop so I wanted to pass this on.
