Received a call from 866-235-3868 wanting to know if I would like information on their apartment leases? Just a recording, but several times per week! They don't say who they are and we have not asked about any apartments since we own our own house!

keeps calling me non stop for someone who owes money. when i tell them this is not there number they still keep talking then call back after i hang up.

This company is calling me 4-5 times daily on a debt I don't owe. I've asked them to quit calling but they persist. They do not leave messages.

I found out not only is this company allied interstate, which is a collection agency -- it is also iQor, inc.which does have a website. The CEO is Vikas Kapoor. After getting "toll free calls" from this company in the past 2 days, I let my fingers do the walking through the internet... and this is one nasty bunch of blood-sucking vipers who does not respect the collection law practices. And from what I have read, I hope there is a special layer of hell (the 9th level of Dante's) for these people.

They started calling last night. 3 times in less than 3 hours. Won't leave a message. Now, they are calling my sister and me again today. They have called me 3 times as of today. I don't know how they found out my sister was my sister as she is married and lives on the other side of the state.

I've been getting calls three times a day from these people, even after I've repeatedly asked them to take me off of their calling list. I don't even have Verizon anymore!

Called work numerous times and was rude and nasty with co-workers....would not provide information to me when I finally contacted them back. Very harrassing.

My number is on the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) national Do Not Call registry.

I receive a call from this number - 866-235-3868 - at least once a day, sometimes more. My Caller ID displayed the words "Out of Area" or "No Name" and the telephone number. I do not pick as I remember the number. In a search of the internet numerous sites identify the caller as Allied Interstate Inc. in Minneapolis, MN.

EVERY TIME I receive an unwanted call such as this one I report it to the FTC using its online complaint format. I provide the date, time of the call, what Caller ID displayed and the message if there was one on my voice mail. I have decided to let the FTC know that people are tired of unwanted calls.

These companies/individuals know that most people will not bother to complain to the FTC - that is what they are relying on. Thus, they stay under the FTC's radar. Complaining at this website does little to stop the calls.

If more people would complain to the FTC and not just complain on this forum, the FTC WILL take action against these annoying callers. The FTC does not act on one complaint. It takes many complaints before they will take action - but they DO take action if enough citizens complain.
