Another scam number for ACT "Servicing Center" out of Sandy, UT. Again, no web or street address anywhere in the letter claiming I "may" be due a refund from my mortgage company. It is a scam - save your time and your money!!

Received a letter stating( from a company called ACT) " I MAY be owed a refund of several thousand dollars on my mortgage...based on city and county records records my loan as well as many other loans MAY have been overcharged or miscalculated several thousand dollars. While refunds vary, amounts can range as high as $1500.00 to over $7800.00."

If I was owed it, just send me a check instead of the string-a-long. This is one big pile of poooh.

The number they provided for me to call and unload all my personal information (not going to happen) is 1-866-259-0031.

There are people out there that truly need to get a real life.

Received a letter with this phone number from ACT. ACT stated in the letter that I may be owed a refund of several thousand dollars on my mortgage. A consumer analysis is avail to those who receive this notice. I thinik this is a scam.
