If you pay medical debt, you've thrown your money away. These people want money, but they REFUSE TO REMOVE the accounts from the 3 bureaus. They just pocket the money and Mark you "paid", but it stays on your credit for the full term of 7 years.

So, don't pay.

Nasty debt collectors. I answered once by accident and told the guy wrong number and he cursed me out. I blocked the number. Now they call on another line but never leave a message. Just call and call and change numbers all the time so you have to keep reblocking. Jerks!

voice mail started out with music as if i was on hold, then a man got on the line and asked for me pronouncing my name wrong. then said if this was not me, to hang up as this was a call regarding a debt collection and personal information and if i continued to listen to this message that i was agreeing to the terms and acknowledging that it was me?
he left this telephone number and said to call back regarding personal important information
