The caller claimed to want to verify a business listing. There is no longer a business at this number (since 2007) and it is a home residence only. They additionally demanded nearly $500 to remove the listing, claiming they had provided a service registered for in 2010. (Note expiry of business in 2007... ) Being that the former home business was myself only, and I never registered for their service "Exchange Pages Online", this is very clearly a serious case of fraud. When threatened with a report of their call and demands, the 'customer service specialist' I was referred to said 'why don't we just see we have the wrong number and leave it at that'. This is a fairly obvious scam and they seem to know it. The initial cold-caller did not care a bit when told this was a home number on the Do Not Call list, when told that no business has existed since 2007, that I have never done business with their company that might permit additional calls. Please keep me informed on this matter.
Call from this Number 866-330-9068 Exchange Pages an ad on the internet. Did not know who they were. Said they would call call in a couple of days with a recorder of our order or cancelation of the ad. Have never heard of them or gotten a bill from them. Also got a call from a Yellow Pages Online that we did not have an ad with that we know of wanting money. Have not heard back from them or gotten a bill found on line that they were a Scam tried to get me to put it on my Mastercard.
