These type of calls need to be outlawed. I also think that whoever is collecting a debt should do it themselves instead of selling it to some crooked outside agency. The company you owe money to knows these are very underhanded people who use very unethicial ways of getting the money. Instead of paying them to collect why doesn't the business use the money in a more positive way.
I get at least 3 calls a day starting at 8:30 a.m. the next one come in about 10:30 a.m. and the last one in the evening around 7:30 or 8:00 p.m. Both my husband and I get these calls for the same phone number but at different times of the day.

Continually call every day plus voice mails on my cell phone. They have a wrong number, looking for a different person, but will not take me of their electronic dialing list.

Glad to see I'm not the only one receiving these obnoxious recorded calls (home phone, in my case). It's been going on for months. They used to refer at the end of the call to a reference number, or case number, which I could never decipher. They never say my name or the name of the supposed creditor (I have no debts, by the way). I have yet to see any reasonable advice on how to make this stop.

I receive more calls than I would care to remember, from someone calling themselves Roderick Lattimer Debt Collection Agency, to which I am subjected to listening to the same recording every time. If you truly have business with me, call in person. I am doubtful you DO have any business with me, or anyone in my household. Have the balls to do it in person, and do not expect me to "Return" your unwaranted calls! Trust in one thing in this life..... I am NOT the person to which owes you ANYTHING... let alone money. I will say one more thing, be prepared to handle yourself in a "PROFESSIONAL" manner with those of whom do owe you, and forget the recording. Signed........ None of your Business! Got Balls? They leave msgs on my answering machine almost every day. They say they're required by the govern to inform "me" that they are a collection agency. They do not mention my name. I do not have any outstanding bills. It's a scam; I'm sure!

it is a recording, it has been going on for about 3 weeks. they want me to clall them back. it is for collecting a debt. i do not we any body any money.
