Don't know who they are, didn't answer the phone but I did want to report the number

Got a call from this number. The individual blabbed "This call is recorded" without giving his name and company. I asked for his name and he wouldn't give it. I asked for the company and he stated Allied Interstate Inc. Asking for a Ms. but not name. Finally he stated a name for someone who doesn't live in this house because the name doesn't exist anymore as it is my wife's maiden name. We've been married for over 10 years. If they are going to call the least they can do is have correct information when addressing an individual. I told him no one lives here by that name and hung up. We have no outstanding debts and we check our credit history routinely so these guys have to be another scam. The caller also had a heavy Indian accent and another house rule I have is not to answer or give any real information to people not confirmed from the United States who speak understandable English

got a call from this number for my ex who never had this number hey said they were going to take my number of there list hope they do

This number calls me about 4 or 5 times every week, but when I answer there is never anybody on the other end of the line. What the hell is the point of this ?!?!?! I don't think it is a collection agency because I have only 1 credit card and it is in good standing, and if it was a debt collector wouldn't they ask me for money? This just seems like harassment. How do I make this stop?

Call on the cell phone I've had for over 12 years. Caller said his name was Hari (or Harry), I think, in a thick Indian accent. Said he was calling from Allied Interspace, for someone with a name utterly unlike mine, and said it was a personal call. I verified it was my number he called, so he said he must have a bad number . . . So I'm assuming it was a debt collector of some sort.
