It is not Verizon. **Dont give these people any information** Find out what they want and then hang up and report it to Verizon. (or you mobile phone provider)
They called saying they were from Verizon wanting to go over my account with me. Then said my name very badly, vague - wasnt really sure what they said but my name is hard to pronounce. The first thing the guy said was, You have 7 lines... Uh. NO. I asked, What's the name of the person you're trying to contact? What's the billing address? All of this info was way off, not even close to my info. I said as much but never gave my name, address or even city.
I called Verizon and they said they will NEVER call you like this. You have to call them! Sadly, people are giving out their name, address, password, SSN even to these Phishers and then they call or go into a Verizon store and add lines, open accounts and who knows what else in your name! They are stealing your identity.
Have Verizon notate your account that NO ONE but you can make changes on your account.
Grrrrr....
supposedly a contractor for verizon. earlier today I had requested to opt out of these kinds of calls by calling verizon direct but I'm sure it will take a while to update their records.

this number is a nuisance!
