This is a call from Bank of America. I was suspicious at first because it was someone with a foreign accent asking my account number and name without identifying themselves first.
When he realized I was suspicious, he told me to call the number on the back of my card. I called the number from the back of my credit card, and the person told me they had called me to verify that I had recently changed my address online (which I had).
I think people are suspicious because the person on the line has an accent. This is probably just a call center in India or something they outsource to so they can keep costs down.
It is in fact, Bank of America.
