They do not leave any information but I know it's NCO Financial. They are trying to collect for a credit card that I had 8 years ago which I negotiated a settlement for and paid (60% of bill). Now they're trying to get the entire amount again.

keep getting pre-recorded messages from this number and several others from this company, there is never any one on the phone other than the machine. And the call does not identify who is calling, I thought that was against the law. I thought that in order to collect any debt, they had to identify who they were.

The same number has called me about 10 times in the last few weeks and always leaves behind a message to call a Mr Holder on 1-866-849-2438 but nothing else.
