Several calls. Today, Call 8 a.m. from number 215-398-1834 identified at U.S. Armed Forces Association,address P.P. Box 749, Warren MI 48090 Wanted me to send a check to that address. Not! Very suspicious.

The number I got from them was 800-648-9642. I asked for address and they began with P.O. Box 128 and then quickly referred me instead to the phone number. Too late, I realized AFTER I gave them my debit card number and a money amount......that I was most likely scammed.

I just bought a t lock call blocker last week. It did a beautiful job blocking the call. The number showed on my caller id but I didn't hear a sound from my phone and I was setting next to the it having breakfast. These calls have been a nuisance for the last 3 years. I have call intercept but they just call from another number. The intercept only holds 20 numbers

The phone number is the telemarketer for United States Armed Forces Association. We have received about 20 calls over the last week with most of them hangups when we answer. Today I received such three calls and finally had someone tell me who was the caller....US Armed Forces Assoiation. I called the number listed on their website 800-882-1316 x126 and left a message for Joe Steinburg. He returned the call within an hour. I explained what ahd been happening with the calls. He asked for all my information and that he would notify the telemarketer to remove my name and number from their call list. He apologized several times and said he would immediately take care of my complaint. Would advise anyone receiving such calls over and over again to call Mr Steinburg directly to register a complaint and be removed from the call list.

I turned them in to the FTC and the BBB. They are relentless! I happen to be going to Maryland in October and I plan on stopping at their office Silver Springs Maryland and get some issues resolved with these jerks or kick some ass.

The guy asked for my husband, I asked what he was calling for. He started talking very fast so I couldn't have a chance to talk. Asking for money for armed forces, etc. I finally spoke loudly and said "Stop". He stopped talking. I informed him that when we want to make donations, we look for the organizations and choose that way. We do not give to phone solicitors due to too many scams out there. He laughed out loud at me. Then I hung up.

I called back and the recording announced "United States Armed Services Association"

They say they are collecting money for the armed forces. When I asked them for their physical address they spelled the name of the city wrong.

There is a website - usarmedforcesassociation.org. Don't know if it is legitimate or something the scammers put out there to make them look legitimate. They wanted to send me a pledge card, but would not send it unless I promised to make a donation. When I refused to give them anything over the phone, they hung up on me.

On the surface, this is a scam. Why would they not send a pledge card to people who want to donate. They get bulk mailing rates, so the cost is low. As the phone number is not in my name, I know they are robocalling.

Stay away from them and do not give them any information or money.

Received al call this from this number syiang they were collecting donations for care packages for the military. I said I was not able to donate and was harassed by caller. They insisted I donate and finally I hung up on them.

Offered to mail and then transferred me and next person wanted "debit or credit card".
Weren't too pleased when I insisted on "Mail". Wanted to know how soon I'd send it back.

When they start talking I hang up. They call the house at least twice a day for months. They are driving me CRAZY!!
