(877) 311-1672

I just got a call from a man from 951-643-5527 saying I have a judgement against me and that I need to return the call to 877-311-1672 with a reference number of 122.318. Im gald i stopped to research these numbers online and found what you guys are saying. I will not be returning the call and if he calls back again Im gonna drill him for info. He also said that they would be "visiting me" if I didnt return the call. Weird.

since yesterday at 8:30am i was on my way to work and i got a phone call from a 714 768 6142 her name is Robin Thompson. She had told me that i was being charged with check fraud, and imma be sent to court to handle the matter. She gave me a claim number and a phone number to call a firm that sent it to her. So i called this number 877 311 1672 the first perscon i spoke with her name is Shannon, then i asked to be transfered to a supervisor and i spoke with Christine her ext. 314. I spoke with her trying to find out what this is for and all she could tell me is that they are from WorldWide Mediators and they are a small firm who handels delinquent accounts. i have them no information just in case, and then she demaned that i get a ATM card or Debit card to make a $75.00 pymnt to them and so they can have a secured card on file or any future paymnts. So i hung up and called back lik 10 min later and i asked for the account holder who originally had my account and they could not give out that information because they don't have it......?? whichi i think is stupid...!!!! so just this morning i get another phone call from the 714 number and same girl Robin Thompson telling my husband that she has verified my address and work address and that they where gonna see me in person. So my husband hung up and right away they called back and left me a voice maill... and again today while im on lunch Christine form WorldWide Mediators asking for $20 to get a pre-paid card to send a pymnt right now. I asked for their address so i can look them up on line to see what they are all about and all Christine told me was that "I CAN NOT GIVE OUT THAT TYPE OF INFORMATION BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF JOB WE DO" now i believe if your a mediator or n type of thing like that your company would want you to have that information right...??? These kind of people need to be delt with this is not right at all, these people need real jobs to make thier money instead of taking other peoples money.!

They ask for the last 4 digits of my social security to verify who I am. I wouldn't give them that information because I did not know who they were. This is scary.

This is a scam. The FBI has released a press statement about this number. This "Vicki" may also call you from 216-202-8297. She CLAIMS to be a lawyer and that you or a relative has a pending civil or criminal action against you. She will want you to call the 877-311-1672 number as soon as possible. She will claim that she has "notified" you at this point.

When you call the follow up number, either "Dan" or "Jake" will answer. They claim to be from "World Wide Mediators"; a debt mediation service. They will demand to know the last four digits of your social security number or that of a relative. These people are identity theives who hope that they can scare unsuspecting people into giving out bank information.

Keep in mind that even if you or a relative DO have a debt, any legitimate debt collection agency will send you written notification and would know your address. When you talk to these people, they REFUSE to give out THEIR address (because if the police knew where they were, they would be arrested on the spot). Do NOT fall for this scam and do NOT give out your personal information to these people. If these people do contact you, stay calm, get as much info as you can about them, and notify the police and the FBI. I sincerely hope that the FBI NAILS these punks as soon as possible.

Some lady calling from this number claiming she a lawyer. Is this against the law.
