calling me right now over and over. I have it blocked but it rings once. Very annoying

ID was DirecTV. Calls every day; sometimes multiple times per day. Did not answer as suspect it is either a robo call from DirecTV or, more likely, some scam company using DirecTV's name.

For # 877-371-9094: I have this number blocked but it still rings once. Today they called at 2:25 PM, 2:49, 2:56, 2:58, 2:59, 3:01 & 3:03 PM. It is now 3:08 PM and they'll probably keep trying. This is ridiculous and I'm really PO'd!! They are essentially tying up my line so no one can get through to me! Just got a text on my CP from my brother saying he can't get through on my landline phone!! Is this even legal?!

They called from DirecTV offering me a three month promotional package of 30 extra channels for my loyalty. I gave them no personal information and I'm not sure how that's a scam but it made me feel very uncomfortable - I called DirecTV back and they said the call did not come from them.
