A BOUT 3 MONTHS AGO I RECEIVED A CALL FROM SOMEONE WHO TOLD ME TO CALL THEM BECASUE I HAD NO I DEA WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT, IN REGUARDS TO SOME COURT DOCUMENTS.. I CALLD FOUND OUT IT WAS ABOUNT AN OLD CHECK I WROTE WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AND AGREED TO CLEAR IT UP.. SO THE PEROSN NEVER CAME . I NEVER MADE THE PAYMENT BECAEAE ITHOUGHT IT WAS COLLECTIONS, THEN I ENDED UP IN COURT, I WAS SENTECNED TO 30 DAYS AND COURT RESTUTITON.. WILL I GO BACK IF I CANT PAY THE RESTITUTION
HAHAHAHAHAHA TO FUNNY SOMEONE WHO WORK FOR LEGAL FIRM I NO THIS NOT TRUE, YES YOU DO WORK FOR THEM AND TRYING TO SCARE PEOPLE PEOPLE DONT FALL FOR THIS DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFOR GIVING OUT ANY INFORMATIONS THEY TOOO FUNNY
You can not be sentenced to 30 days for a bad check unless it is criminal and the amount would have to be over $100. A call from a collection company and court proceedings in this nature would be civil and there is no jail time in civil cases. I think you work for the company and are trying to scare people. Just so you know if you work for a collection agency and threaten jail time you could face legal charges.
