The woman from this number tried to trick my elderly mother into giving her credit card and checking account numbers over the phone. She refused to identify herself or who she worked for when I asked. She claimed to be collecting a debt for GE Capital that was just recently set up. There is no debt...GE Capital said it was a mistake and just to disregard them. But the unknown caller that claims to work for an unknown collection agency on GE's behalf keeps calling and hanging up or demanding money. I think they are acting like criminals or con artists, and have reported that number to law enforcement.
