Sharee with getaway vacation dreams 8886056586
called my house at 350 pm on 3/9/2011 with an unsolicited call regarding a vacation offer
they wished me to extend an offer they had made me (of which i have no recollection).
I am on the national do not call list.
I told her that i would not do business over the phone - she offered an internet business site - I told her that I did not trust them due to the rampant fraud in the news so often and that if they wished to do business with me they would need to do so via usps - where lying constitutes a federal crime.
She asked me to hold while she got a supervisor. He praised his worker then I told him the same - his reply was:
"and you will not eat green eggs and ham either will you (vulgar word)."
I find that this call does in fact constitute harassment as defined in the Ga Secretary of State's description and am reporting it as such. Although he did not threaten physical violence, his crude language over an unsolicited call both violates the DNC registry guidelines and my state's laws, but also constitutes slander.
I called the number back and left a message for the owners of the business requesting a formal apology from this employee, and from the business owner. Furthermore I am reporting them to the local BBB, my SoS, and the DNC registry as a violation.

This automated dialing system is truly a nuisance and when I answer it is silent then a pre-recorded voice eventually says, "goodbye." When I have called back the number an automated message identifies it as "Getaway Vacation Dreams, please leave a message." We did own a Mexican timeshare that linked us to RCI, which is apparently where they obtained our number. We also regularly receive nuisance vacation advertisements faxed to our home office despite calling the number listed to delist. A real invasion of privacy.
This was a company called getaway vacations dreams who apparently rents out the extra vacation weeks offered by the timeshare company RCI, but of course you have to pay a big close to $1000 deposit upfront before you get money back. I tried calling RCI and asking them about this and they said it was a scam and I can't even find any reviews for these people. They sound so convincing too. Be careful of these guys!
Same as above.
It would be nice if we could track this, but Ma Bell is making WAY TOO MUCH money to let this happen. It could stop this pain in the a** use of the phone systen, but cut the phone cos. money supplt!!
