I received the same call..they never said my name,but said the information had been mailed to me and that I needed to call them back. When I did call back,it rang and started playing the elevator music,but no one answered.

My message from this number said there was a claim against me for a 'return bank' and a third word that was unintelligible. Then advised me to call the 'Claimants Office' to confirm my name and social. The last sentence was (seriously) 'you have been notified' and said very ominously. I laughed out loud.

Here's what I want to know: how do these people stay in business long enough to make so many phone calls and I'm assuming long enough to bilk people out of money?

I got the same call saying they were coming to my home and or place of business for me to sign paperwork fopr a claim against me.

They gave the name of the person they were trying to contact, who no longer lives here. Said they were delivering papers to this address or place of employment. It was a recorded message. Left this number and a case number, so I'm guessing it is from a collection agency.
