My husband took this call. He was told he was being sued for check fraud and other fees...He did take out a payday loan a couple months ago (different company), but it was paid on time and in full. This guy said he was from Cash Advance USA. It is a scam. Any suggestions on how to get them to stop calling?

For the past two months i've been getting a call from people I can't even understand what they are saying, claiming that I will have a law suit if I don't return their calls and deal with the situaition and today I got a call at my work with a message from a Lisa saying that she wish me luck if I didn't return her call, she claims she is from an attorney's office.

Received a call at my job for the 5th time from someone with an "unamerican" accent. In the past, they said they want to speak to me or my attorney, today they called and said they want to spek to my supervisor because if I dont' pay them they will make sure I get terminated within two days. This has gotten out of hand. I've asked them numerous time not to call my job with this fraudulant accusation but they cannot be stopped obviously. Really?? Are they THAT smart that they cannot be traced AT ALL?? I don't think so. They will be on the news soon and I will be happy to testify that they have harrassed me numerous times on my job and have my co-workers as witnesses!!!!

I just recieved a nasty message from this number saying my husband would be arrested if we didnt call back and take care of the matter. Stupid me called them back. The man demanded me to pay $412 today or we would be arrested and be held atleast 16 days in jail and then owe over 8,000. he wanted me to fax a letter giving a Jason OConner the ok to extract the funds along with a copy of our ID. he also wanted my debit card number now before i faxed letter. He refused to tell me who we owed< date of loan or any info. Said if I wanted that info I would need to have my lawyer call him for it. I became mad and demanded a date. He kept saying from Oct 2011. At this point I informed him I believed this was a scam and he became very mad and hung up. The fax number he requested the letter faxed to was 206-333-1858

I was left a nasty voicemail from who knows who that does not speak English. Then some guy called me at work and told me that the Florida General Attorney's office was suing me and he wanted my attorneys number. I told them this is a scam and I was turning them in and the guy said "Go F&^% your A$$" and hung up on me. I called back to get their company information and he would not give it to me unless I gave him my name.
