I was called from this number, I thought it was one of my friends because laughter came from the background it was odd

FYI be careful commenting, seeking advice, or registering on websites like this one -- scammers have been known to set up websites (like this one....just saying) that show up when people search the scammer's phone number after receiving a call.

THE SAFEST OPTION is to file a complaint with the Federal Government -- there are consumer protection laws designed to protect everyday people from this type of harassment. Register your phone number on the National Do Not Call Registry and telemarketers (with a few exceptions for charities, political groups, and the like) should stop calling the registered phone number. If they continue to call after you have registered on the Do Not Call Registry, then you can file a complaint and the FTC will take steps to stop the continued calls.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT register your phone number on a non-government website that is claiming to be the "national do not call registry" or something similar. This is a scam. Government websites will typically end in .gov rather than .com

Home security scam, but also a robo-caller.

Suspect "robo-call" I did not answer from number 915-533-0469. Received call 3:34 P.M CST with call ID ref El Paso, TX. No message was left with the call. I suspect it to be a scam call. I will assume that it was a debt collection.

i called back 10 seconds later that number was disconnected,i didnt answer when he called but on voicemail he said um tryn to reach then it went quiet and he said hello then hung up thats when i called the number back and it was disconnected
