robocall (mis)representing themselves as being a gov't agency providing official gov't service--"Press 1 to register/sign up to get help and your tax bill cut in half!" They even name drop Pres. Obama. SCAMMERS!

My dad just received a call from this number at 11:08AM. He said it was an automated call stating something about Obama and that he owed back taxes and that they could garnish his wages etc..... Totally a scam, my dad is below poverty level on social security and food stamps and hasn't been required to pay taxes in 15+ years per the IRS.
The automated call asked him to press 1 to speak with someone and it paused a bit and then gave a busy signal. I tried calling the phone number back and it clicked and paused a few times like it was being rerouted and then an automated voice said something like "all systems are busy at this time" and then it went to a busy signal.
IRS will contact you via US mail or in person requesting that you call or come into a local office. You can't even call one of the local offices and get a person, it tells you just to come in person.
